Mark Twain's Former Redding Property Hits Market For $4 Million REDDING, Conn. – Mark Twain owned a home in Redding for less than two years before he died in 1910. Now, the site on which one of America’s most famous writers built his house is up for sale. The four-bedroom house on Mark Twain Lane, off Diamond Hill Road, recently came on the market for $4 million. Twain’s home, built in 1908, was destroyed by fire in 1923. The existing home was built in 1925 “utilizing the same foundation, style and grandeur of the original home,” according to the website listing. Greenwich Triathlete Mike Christie Still Flying In Mid-50s GREENWICH, Conn. – Cos Cob’s Mike Christie hung up his running shoes when he was 35. But about 15 years later, he laced them up again and later added biking and swimming to his endurance mix. Darien's Devin Burke Named Pioneer League All-Star DARIEN, Conn. – Darien pitcher Devin Burke was named to the Pioneer League All-Star team. He plays for the Grand Junction Rockies. Burke went 5-2 with a 3.21 earned run average in 13 games for the Rockies, an affiliate of the Colorado team in Major League Baseball. He went 2-1 as a starter and 3-1 in relief.
