Greens Farms Volleyball Sweeps Canterbury WESTPORT, Conn. – The Greens Farms Academy volleyball team swept Canterbury, 3-0, winning by 26-24, 25-22 and 30-20. The power went out at GFA’s Coyle Gym, but the tight contest generated enough electricity for players and fans.  Setter Sarah MacDonell, from Westport, led the way for GFA with 10 assists, six kills, three blocks and two aces. Stamford’s Sarah Young was clutch under pressure on the service line, serving out the last five points to win the first game and serving out the final point in game three to win the match. The Dragons host King Saturday in GFA’s homecoming day.

The Junior Pee Wee 1 team fell to Bridgeport, 14-0, while West Haven topped Junior Pee Wee 2, 32-0. West Haven scored on its opening drive to seize a quick 6-0 led.
