On Monday, the Blue Wave will see if they can do it on the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s grand stage as well. Norwalk Youth Wrestling To Open New Season NORWALK, Conn. — The Norwalk Youth Wrestling Club, the Mad Bulls, begin their second season Nov. 1. The program is open to all area children in grades 1 to 8. Registration and the first practice is Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Norwalk High School in the wrestling room. Barlow Runners Shine at League Meet EASTON, Conn. – Joel Barlow High School’s Logan Fulton finished second in the boys race and Emily Winter was sixth in the girls race Friday at the South-West Conference cross country championships at Bethel High School. Staples Water Polo Reaches .500 Mark WESTPORT, Conn. – The Staples water polo team won its third straight game with a 4-3 victory over Horace Mann to improve to 4-4 on the season. It marks the first time in the four-year history of the program that Staples has reached the .500 mark. Co-captains David Katter and Daniel Nussbaum led the way with two goals each. Fairfield Prep Runner Repeats as Champ FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Prep senior Connor Rog won his second straight individual title Thursday as the Jesuits finished third in the southern Connecticut cross country championships at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison. Rog won the race in 15:59.39, an average of 5:09 per mile over the 5K course. He finished 35 seconds ahead of the runner-up, David Pugliese of Xavier.
