Bulkley, a former Darien High School lacrosse star, has dedicated the past 10 years to coaching high school and club lacrosse programs in Fairfield County. Fairfield Fury 12U Girls Win Softball Tournament FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Fury 12-and-under softball team won the Donna Festa Tournament last weekend at Unity Park in Trumbull. The Fury has players from Fairfield and Black Rock. Three Fury teams competed in the tournament, which is named after Festa, a longtime supporter of softball in Fairfield County. She died in 2008 at the age of 42. The Fury defeated the Ridgefield Rebels, 10-6, to win the tournament. The Thursday Night Women's League softball playoffs are among the games that have been postponed. Teen, Father Ride To Fight Cancer WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport teenager Marcus Russi and his father, Mark, will ride bikes Saturday to raise money for the new Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
