Middlesex Swims in League Championships DARIEN, Conn. — The Middlesex Swim Club finished fifth in the Division 1 championships of the Fairfield County Swimming League on Monday at Innis Arden Country Club in Old Greenwich. Roxbury Swim Club of Stamford won the meet, followed by Rocky Point of Greenwich. Several longstanding county records were shattered in the meet, including one that had stood since 1977. Middlesex totaled 602 points, just behind third-place Newfield (653.5) and fourth place Riverside Yacht Club (624.5). Roxbury won with 1,375.5 points, and Rocky Point had 1,187. Middlesex did not have any individual champions.…
