Troopers Save Man Trapped In Car After Rollover Crash In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. -- Connecticut State Police troopers saved a man who was trapped in his car following a rollover on Route 7 in Danbury on Saturday.Troopers from Troop A - Southbury, the Danbury Fire Department and EMS responded to the accident on Route 7 northbound near I-84 exit 3 in Danbury on Saturday. The driver had sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to state police. Trooper Cassavechia arrived on scene first and found the man injured and trapped in his car. He was able to crawl into the wrecked vehicle and provide first aid before firefighters and EMS arrived.

Drunken Driving Charges Against Greenwich's Stephanie Seymour Dismissed GREENWICH, Conn. — Drunken driving charges against former supermodel and Greenwich resident Stephanie Seymour were dropped Tuesday after she completed a probation program, according to the Stamford Advocate. The charges against Seymour, 48, stemmed from two accidents that occurred on Jan. 15, 2016, according to police. She had been first charged with backing her Land Rover into another car on and I-95 south exit ramp, then hitting a utility pole in Greenwich, according to police reports. Newspaper Delivery Truck Driver Charged In Darien Crash DARIEN, Conn. -- A newspaper delivery driver was arrested after police said he struck a car in a Darien driveway and took off last September. Police said that the delivery driver, identified as 39-year-old Manual Condo-Rocano of Stamford, was involved in a crash on Sept. 9. when he struck a vehicle parked in a driveway at 371 West Ave. Through investigation it was determined that Condo-Rocano knew that he had hit the car, but he failed to report it or contact the police, according to police reports. Twin Teenagers Busted At Underage Beer Party In Darien DARIEN, Conn. -- Two teenage twins from Darien were issued fines last weekend after police said they hosted an underage party with alcohol. An officer on patrol shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 26 saw a dispute occurring the driveway of a home on Mansfield Avenue, police said. The dispute took place near a car, which a 17-year-old was sitting in, according to police. Delivery Driver Suffers Injury In Norwalk Knifepoint Robbery NORWALK, Conn. — A food delivery driver suffered a minor injury in a knifepoint robbery in Norwalk Saturday, according to the Hour. The driver was dropping off some Chinese food at the Washington Village housing complex in South Norwalk when he was robbed by two men armed with a knife, according to the Hour. Norwalk Man Who Died In Fire Complicated By Hoarding Identified NORWALK, Conn. — A man who died in a fire in Norwalk Saturday that was complicated by hoarding conditions has been identified as 67-year-old Fredrick Bassler, according to the Hour.
