Norwalk Man Found With 96 Pieces Of Crack In His Underwear, Police Say NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was arrested on drug charges after police said they found 96 pieces of crack cocaine in his possession. Calvin Richardson, 27, was charged with possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics, sale within distance of a school, illegal possession near a school, and use of highways by pedestrians. Police: Man Mugged At Gunpoint In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- A man reported that he was mugged at gunpoint in the area of East Wall Street and Brook Street in Norwalk early Tuesday, according to police. The man told officers that he was heading home at 1:26 a.m. when he was stopped by two men who demanded money from him, police said. One suspect was a black male and the other was Hispanic, he told police, and both were wearing ski masks. Police Say Norwalk Woman's Purse Stolen On Union Avenue NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk woman's purse was stolen as she was walking in her apartment complex on Union Avenue early Monday morning, according to police. The 50-year-old woman told police that she was walking through the parking lot of the apartment complex at 5:49 a.m. when she saw a black male with curly hair walking towards her. Police: Sleeping Owners Catch Couple On Their Boat In Norwalk Marina NORWALK, Conn. -- Two people were charged with breaking onto a boat at the Norwalk Cove Marina where at family was sleeping early Sunday, police said. Julia Armijo, 20, of Weston and Renny Isaac, 23, of Ridgefield were charged with second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass, criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny, and second-degree breach of peace. Monday will be a full day of school for students. Man Charged With DUI After Highway Chase In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- Two construction workers were injured after a man fleeing from Norwalk police crashed into a work zone on I-95 southbound Saturday, according to police. The chase started at 2:10 a.m. Saturday when police said a minivan fled from a Norwalk officer. Man Injured After Falling On Train Tracks In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- A man received minor injuries after falling onto the tracks near the South Norwalk Railroad Station early Sunday morning. The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a report of a person possibly struck by a train just east of the train station at 3:10 a.m. Sunday.
