Rye Arts Center Hosts Three Musical Theater Workshops RYE, N.Y. -- Kids between the ages of 8 and 13 are invited to take part in one of three weeklong musical theater workshops this month at the Rye Arts Center. The Arts Center will be staging three productions of "Pippin!" Over the course of a week, students will learn lines, choreography and staging for the musical. The shows will be directed by Michael Awusie, with musical direction by Cindy Moore. Teen volunteers are also wanted to help with staging, blocking and costumes. Rye Brook Mosquitos Test Positive For West Nile Virus RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- A mosquito batch collected in Rye Brook has tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to county health officials. This is the first mosquito batch in Westchester County to test positive for the virus this year. The batch was collected in Rye Brook by County Health Department staff and sent to the New York State Department of Health for testing.
