Hundreds Still Without Power In Darien DARIEN, Conn. — With 585 customers still without power in Darien as of 2 p.m. Thursday, Connecticut Light & Power did not have an estimate on when it might be restored. "We do not have any restoration estimates at this time," said Frank Poirot of CL&P. "We have every available crew out working to repair damage caused by this morning's high winds." Norwalk Man Charged With Strangulation, Assault NORWALK, Conn. - A Norwalk man was arrested and charged with strangulation and assault after police said he was found hiding in an attic Tuesday night. Brandon Lee, 31, was charged with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and second-degree breach of peace. He was also charged with another count of second-degree breach of peace for an incident that occurred earlier in January, police said.
