Spots Open To Plow Snow In Wayne WAYNE, N.J. – Residents can apply to plow snow this winter in Wayne. The snow-plowing season is defined as the period of Oct. 1 through May 1. During that period, snow plow contractors may enter into a contract with the Township of Wayne to plow snow on township roads. The use of such contractors is at the discretion of the superintendent of roads, the director of public works or the business administrator, when the accumulation of snow necessitates the use of additional snow-plowing equipment to supplement the township's fleet. Christopher Wolf of the First Reformed Church have launched the Saddle Brook Community Partnership, an initiative to help those less fortunate. White and Wolf’s efforts began in December, in meetings with township emergency service, religious, educational, civic and business leaders.
