Pompton Lakes High School Hosting Open House POMPTON LAKES, N.J. -- Pompton Lakes High School is hosting its annual eighth grade open house on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. The event is open to any potential incoming freshmen who reside in either Pompton Lakes or Riverdale. The open house will begin with a video presentation in the auditorium and an overview of the course offerings, athletics and extra-curricular activities at the high school. The event will conclude with a tour of facilities. The school is located at 44 Lakeside Ave. In the event of inclement weather, the open house would be held on January 14.

Born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, McMorrow came to the United States in 1956, settling in Hackensack. She was a member of the Bergen Irish Association of Dumont, and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack. She was the wife of the late Michael J. McMorrow. Man Charged With Failure To Pay Fine In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 26-year-old resident of Brookfield, Conn., on a bench warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for failure to pay a fine in connection with a charge of unlicensed driving and speeding, both infractions. On July 28, a bench warrant was issued for the defendant, Justin McCurdy, after he allegedly failed to pay the fine, police report.
