Wilton Youth Football Teams Start Strong WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton seventh-grade Blue football team is one of many in the surging town program that is finding success in the Fairfield County Football League. Wilton beat defending champion Fairfield , 7-6, Sunday and is 2-0 on the season. As sixth-graders, the team went 6-2. Wilton had two sixth-grade teams in 2011, and they went a combined 14-4. St. Luke's Football Standout Catches New Role NORWALK, Conn. – St. Luke’s in New Canaan knew it had a good thing with Norwalk’s Noel Thomas Jr. at running back. The Storm hope Thomas is even better at wide receiver. Thomas committed in the spring to play football at the University of Connecticut, where he will be a wide receiver.
