Registration Open for Fairfield Giants Football FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Registration is open for the Fairfield Giants Pop Warner football team. Registration continues through July 31. Players can compete in either tackle or flag football, and girls can participate in cheerleading. The Giants have also started a program for young athletes to improve footwork, speed and condition. Weston Football Players Plan Car Wash WESTON, Conn. – The Weston High School football team will host its annual car wash on Saturday, May 26, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cars will be hand-washed and dried free of charge, but donations are accepted. Everyone getting a car wash is invited to enjoy complimentary hot dogs and soda, courtesy of Johnny’s Roadside Grill.
