Weston Swimmers 3rd at Conference Meet WESTON, Conn. – Weston High School junior Jordan Berger won the 100-yard breaststroke in record time to lead the Trojans to a third-place team finish at the South-Weston Conference boys swimming championships. Berger won the race in 1:00.05, which was one of six records set in the meet. Weston finished with 269 points, well behind meet winner Brookfield (597) and Pomperaug (579). Norwalk Hurdler Reaches NCAA Championships NORWALK, Conn. – Sacred Heart junior Bertony Jean-Louis, a former track star at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, has qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field championships this weekend in Nampa, Idaho. Jean-Louis will compete in the 60-meter hurdles. He is only the second Sacred Heart athlete in the school’s history to earn a berth at the meet, which will be run at Boise State. Jean-Louis broke his own school record in winning the IC4A championship last weekend. He ran 7.83 in the finals, but set the record with a 7.76 in the semifinals. The championship games in each division will be played this weekend.
