Nunn Golf Tournament Scheduled at Sterling Farms STAMFORD – The sixth annual Joseph W. Nunn Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament takes place Sept. 8 at Sterling Farms Golf Course. The event begins at noon with registration and lunch. The shot-gun tee-off is 1:45 p.m. That is followed by an open bar, buffet dinner, silent auction and raffle. There is also a prize of a car from Toyota of Stamford if a golfer sinks a hole-in-one on one of the par-3 holes. Norwalk Softball 10U Team Takes 2nd NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Zoomers 10-and-under softball team finished in second place at the recent season-ending Fairfield County Fastpitch Softball League tournament. The runner-up finish came after finishing third in the Babe Ruth state tournament just a few weeks earlier. In the FCFSL tournament, the Zoomers went 3-0 in pool play.
