Wilton Rolls to State Boys Lacrosse Title Wilton's boys lacrosse team played its best when it mattered the most. The result is the Warriors' first state championship since 2004. Wilton ran roughshod over New Canaan on Saturday, 12-2, to win the Class M title at Brien McMahon High School. The Warriors (15-5), who took out top-seeded Darien in the semifinals in an 11-3 rout, won the rubber-game in a three-game series against the seventh-seeded Rams (13-7). Three Carver Teams Win AAU Crowns Three teams from the Norwalk-based Carver Center won titles in the Best of the Spring Championships last weekend. The teams, who play as TMT (Teaching and Mentoring Through Basketball) won titles in the 11-and-under, 12-and-under and 13-and-under divisions. TMT's 14u and 16u teams lost in the finals. TMT's eighth grade team also won the Connecticut Super Regionals last month to earn a trip to Orlando, Fla. for the AAU national tournament. The team, coached by Glenn Colarossi, continues its trek in the playoffs with a semifinal game Saturday at Chestnut Hill Park. Instant Replay finished the regular season with a six-game winning streak to take the title. Beachside U12s Win Premier Cup Beachside Soccer Club's Under-12 boys team defeated FASFC United, 3-1, to win the Connecticut Premier Cup. The victory was one of four Premier Cup victories for Beachside, which is based in Westport and directed by Norwalk's Mickey Kydes. The victory sends the U12s to a national tournament next month in Hershey, Pa. The team includes players from Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Fairfield, Ridgefield, Trumbull and Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.
