McMahon, Norwalk Athletes Strike Track Gold Brien McMahon's Shelly Lindo is the fastest girl in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference. If there are hurdles on the track, Norwalk's Adam Robertino is the league's fastest boy. Lindo won the girls 100 meter dash and Robertino the boys 110 high hurdles to lead Norwalk performances at Tuesday's league championship meet at Danbury. Norwalker Pitches Pitt to Big East Win Pittsburgh's Matt Iannazzo, a junior from Norwalk, tossed a complete-game as the University of Pittsburgh defeated Louisville on Wednesday, 7-2, in the first round of the Big East Tournament in Clearwater, Fla. Iannazzo (8-3) allowed eight hits and struck out four. He did not issue a walk as Pitt moved to a second-round game on Thursday against St. John's. Twin Brothers Serve as PALs in Westport Westport PAL has been a huge influence in the lives of twin brothers Mike and Chris Giunta. The Staples seniors were rewarded Wednesday for their commitment to the program, the community and their leadership when they received the P.J. Romano Award from the organization.
